NPL Champions Janakpur Bolts Hold Trophy Parade in Janakpurdham

Mahendranagar (Dhanusha): The Janakpur Bolts, winners of the inaugural Nepal Premier League (NPL) T20 Cricket Championship, celebrated their victory with a grand trophy parade in Janakpurdham today.
The players, who arrived in Janakpur on Thursday, kicked off the parade from the Ramjanaki International Stadium. The procession passed through prominent areas of the town, including Thapa Chowk, Pidari Chowk, Ramananda Chowk, Bajranga Chowk, Bhramarpura Chowk, Zero Mile, Bishwokarma Chowk, Murali Chowk, and Ram Chowk, before culminating at the iconic Janaki Temple premises.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from civil society, youths, cricket fans, and the general public, celebrating the team's historic achievement.
Janakpur Bolts clinched the NPL title by defeating Sudurpaschim Royals by five wickets in the final match held at the TU Cricket Ground in Kathmandu on December 21. The parade marked a moment of pride and joy for Madhes Province, showcasing the unifying power of sports.
